Job Description
Our client, a college located in Brooklyn is looking to a hire a Staff Accountant on a direct hire basis. Reporting into the Accounting Manager, this individual will assist monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, review and reconcile credit card activities, assist with accounts payables, and audits. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of general accounting experience preferably within a non-profit or higher education setting.
Must Haves:
*Bachelor’s degree
*3+ years of accounting experience
*Non-Profit or Higher Education experience
*Excel
Preferences:
*Bachelor’s degree in accounting
*Colleague software
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
