Revenue Controller Direct Location: One World Trade, NY, NY
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting, accounts receivable or budget and forecasting, including at least 3+ years of revenue accounting and management experience.
Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Excel
Preferred:
CPA
Experience with SaaS company
Job Summary/Description: A growing and exciting medical software company is looking for an accomplished revenue accountant to join their team and oversee the AR team.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Revenue Controller is as follows:
Manage and lead a team of billing specialists and accountants; ensuring day-to-day activities are accurately executed
Evaluating team based on KPI’s and striving to mentor, build and coach the team
Reconcile US GAAP revenues to billings-based revenue metrics for internal reporting
Build budgets and rolling forecasts for ARR (“Annual Recurring Revenue”) and NRR (“Non-Recurring Revenue”).
Assist with customer inquiries or disputes about billing, collections, etc
Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Operations, Professional Services and FP&A as it relates to the order-to-cash and reporting processes.
Work closely with the external auditors on revenue recognition and related controls.
Proactively search for opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work.
Support ad hoc projects as required, driving positive changes for the broader Finance team.
