Trade Analyst
6-month contract
Location: Remote (PST hours)

$46-51/hr

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
3-4 years of accounting related experience
2+ years specifically related to deductions
Strong with Excel
Knowledge of ERP systems and payment processing systems

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely, accurate and approved entry and maintenance of trade settlements in the TPM system.
Verify promotion details by confirming alignment of terms against customer contracts and communicate discrepancies.
Work with Sales, Sales Ops, Finance and Trade Promotions Team to confirm terms of customer contracts and help communication and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze and validate volume data and issue rebate payments in a timely manner.
Timely review deviated billing with Sales and connect with customers to collect any money disagreed upon.
Work closing with accounts receivable team to reconcile check details with bill-backs.
Help to provide status reports regarding open items within the reconciliation to Trade Promotion Accountant(s) and Manager – Revenue Accounting.
Help calculate month-end accruals and update monthly roll forwards for trade related reserve and liability accounts.
Record journal entries as considered appropriate. Help verify trade related deductions are captured in our TPM or ERP and are accurately accounted for.
Assist with special tasks/projects as requested by the Revenue Accounting Team.

Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Economics
CPA preferred
Knowledge of ERP systems and payment processing systems
Strong excel skills, knowledge of accounting for accruals and estimates
Willingness to continue to improve and learn
3-4 years of accounting related experience, 2+ years specifically related to deductions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Open to direct feedback and constant change
Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
Embrace fast paced environment and adopt quickly to changes
