Technical Accountant
Contract
Hybrid
Exciting, growing company seeking a technical accountant who has experience doing detailed high level reconciliations.
Required:
Reconciliation experience
Intermediate to Advanced excel (macros not needed, high volume pivot tables and v look ups)
accounting or finance degree
Preferred:
Experience working from contracts
Revenue Recognition ASC606 strongly preferred
Bonus Calculations and summary experience
Experience calculating commissions
Experience calculating severance
Understanding of payroll
Tech industry and or large company experience
This hire will be involved in fair value revenue analysis and work closely with the revenue teams. A lot of the work is payroll related including retention bonus and severance. Working to compare the formulas on excel spreadsheet, interpret contracts, and coming up with fair value. Interpret financials. Seeking someone with an analytical mind that can do high-level reconciliations with a lot of detail.
Responsibilities will include:
Revenue Recognition, ASC606
Severance reconciliations
Bonus Calculations and summaries
Payroll understanding
Commission accruals
monthly reports
variance analysis
contract reviews
general ledger tasks
The majority of the work is done in Excel – high volume pivot tables and v look ups.
