StaffAccountant Direct Location: Hybrid – New York, New York (Financial District)
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2+ years general accounting experience (i.e. journal entries, month end close, reconciliations etc)
Basic Excel skills
Preferred:
Experience in a start-up environment
Experience with Sage Inacct and/or Rippling
Experience with audit
Job Summary/Description: An exciting and innovate medical device manufacturer is looking for a Staff Accountant to join the experience financial team. This individual will play a central role in managing the daily financial operations, will also gaining hands-on experience. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Assist in month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Maintaining accounts for deferred revenue, accrued liabilities, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
Review of general ledger periodically and address outstanding items
