Job Description

Essential Functions
• Work collaboratively and strong business partnering with the Commercial Insights Analytics and Innovation (“CIAO”) 
team; analyzing historical revenue spend and assisting with budget and forecast development, including 
quantification of risks and opportunities
• Communicate insights and analysis to various levels of management and sales teams with the goal of providing 
clarity on drivers of revenue performance 
• Close partnership with Accounting team on month end close for revenue and sales units and related journal entries,
owner of revenue reporting; ensure alignment of revenue reporting between forecasts/ budget/ actuals
• Demonstrate understanding of financial and accounting concepts and enterprise systems to support accounting and 
financial planning needs of non-financial clients
• Perform strong data analysis (i.e. gross revenue, gross to net revenue adjustments and sales incentive 
compensation, etc.) through review of data and ability to draw conclusions with proposals for remediation where 
applicable.
• Perform ad-hoc gross margin or profitability financial analysis; Partner with Plant Controller team to understand 
critical gross margin drivers i.e. manufacturing cost structure, variable vs. fixed costs, etc.
• Prepare internal reporting packages and presentations that illustrate a well-thought-out story that is backed by 
strong data points and metrics 
• Compile monthly and quarterly internal reporting packages
• Develops high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prepped).
• Systems savviness, demonstrated experience with an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) budgeting tool; 
support the continuous improvement and optimization of the forecast and budget processes utilizing EPM tool; 
Effectively troubleshoot and manage inquiries from all Company users and partner with IT, as needed
• Demonstrates and promotes the values of accountability, communication, customer commitment, 
entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, safety and teamwork. 

Typical Minimum Skills, Experience and Education
• Preferred 3-5 years of experience in a finance/ accounting role; budgeting/financial planning experience is a plus
• Experience in life sciences preferred 
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with an attention to quality and timely analyses and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint 
• Ability to learn systems quickly; strong technical ability of analyzing large amounts of data
• Knowledge of EPM tools such as SAP or Planful is a plus
• Analytical and detail-oriented self-starter with a high emphasis on teamwork, quality of work and timeliness with 
high-level of integrity and strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to write and present analytical summaries
