Must Haves:
3-10 years general ledger accounting experience
Strong Audit foundation, whether private or internal audit background with a CPA
Strong intercompany reconciliations experience
Strong experience with month-end and year-end close
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Preferred:
Lease Accounting Experience preferred
Food Industry/ CPG/ Pharma industry preferred
CPA Preferred
PowerBI, Esker and/or HighRadius system experience preferred
Job Description:
This position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the supporting the day-to-day general ledger accounting. Someone who has a strong foundation in public accounting/audit is a must. You will have a background supporting month-end and year-end and as well as played a pivot role in audits. This role will require the incumbent to handle large data sets within Excel, journal entries and reconciliations across the organization. A strong technical accountant with a deep understanding of GAAP is needed.
The Senior Accountant performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Someone with a strong foundation in lease accounting will be able a tremendous asset. This individual assists in the execution and documentation of accounting projects and supporting the company’s continued growth.
