Senior Accountant

Large, growing organization seeking an Accountant. Responsibilities will include month end, close out audits, general ledger work.

The focus of the role will be general ledger, reconciliation, and month end close.

Responsibilities will include booking journal entries for month end, reconcile accounts at it relates to month end close. Year end, close the books, and some audit requests for year end.

Required:

Journal entry experience
Reconciliation
Large company experience, ideally someone who has worked at a 1,000+ employee company
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Preferred:

Experience working for a public company or a large public company
Public accounting experience (public/private mix)
CPA
Familiarity with working with auditors for a public company

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prep and post monthly journal entries.
reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
prep financial information included in footnotes
liaison to external auditors

Ideal hire has

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CPA in process
public accounting or public/private mix
