Job Description
We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our Real Estate Investment company. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with external and internal clients, the Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing a multifaceted portfolio of construction projects including all related accounting, reporting, and analysis.
Interested individuals should have previous exposure to the following areas:
Project Accounting
Budgeting
Job Costing
Preparation of Financial Statements
Complex reconciliations
Coordination of month and year-end close activities
Cash flow projections
Lease abstractions
Property Tax analysis
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in cost accounting/construction project environment.
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Knowledge of accounting principles and general business practices
Demonstrate understanding of GAAP
Excel (intermediate)
