Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Payroll Responsibilities:
o Review and post timesheets in Deltek Vision timekeeping system on a weekly basis.
o Process bi-weekly payroll in UKG Pro.
o Maintain, update, and verify the accuracy of employee information in Deltek Vision and UKG Pro.
o Submit bi-weekly 401k information and payments to 401k provider.
o Participate in month-end close process, including preparation of payroll journal entries, supporting schedules, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
o Resolve employee matters involving payroll.
• Accounting Responsibilities:
o Assist with the review and approval of weekly vendor payment run.
o Assist with management and compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
o Coordinate with third-party accounting firm on external audit and tax compliance matters.
o Support the accounting department with projects as requested.
Special Skills/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five plus years of related experience, preferably in a project oriented professional services firm.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous experience using UKG Pro and Deltek Vision software preferred.
