Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing with ADP and a thorough understanding of garnishments.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and timely using ADP payroll systems.
Manage and process all types of employee garnishments, including but not limited to child support, tax levies, and creditor garnishments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the ADP system.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
Assist in audits by providing payroll information and documentation.
Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with a focus on ADP payroll systems.
In-depth knowledge of garnishment processing.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, laws, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Payroll (CPP) is a plus.
