Patient Data Clerk
$18-$22/hr Contract: 6+ months Remote (within EST)
Must Haves:
High school diploma / GED required.
Previous EPIC experience required.
Experience working with large amounts of data and navigating complex systems.
Good time management.
Ability to work independently.
Preferred:
Background in customer service/healthcare preferred.
Job Description: A well-known area hospital recently integrated EPIC and are looking for several skilled individuals to assist the Patient Access team with the transition process. Individuals will be responsible for:
Reviewing errors in the queue
Correcting patient information that did not transition accurately (i.e. birthdates, names, etc)
Review patient files for missing information and enter correctly
Remove duplicate files or duplicate information
Reach out to families or patients to obtain missing information or clarification
May also be confirming demographics, adding/updating insurance information
