Job Description

A healthcare tech company in Boston, MA seeks a Training & Learning Designer to join their team for a 6+ month contract assignment. 

Learning Experience Designer and Trainer
6+ month Contract

Vaccination Requirements: none

Must Haves:
  • 5+ years hands-on building and delivering training and learning solutions. 
  • Instructional Design experience
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Camtasia.?
Job Summary/Description:

Training Design and Development
  • Apply knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design to design, develop, and implement Learning solutions (end-to-end).  Formats include, but not limited to instructor-led sessions and workshops, eLearning, (V)ILT, job aids, and manuals.
  • Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts and ensure knowledge is captured, transformed into adequate learning solution/s, shared, and continuously maintained. 
  • Manage training projects to ensure quality of learning, timelines, milestones and deliverables are met in accordance with project plan. 
  • Gather, analyze and summarize feedback on training efficacy for continued improvement, and determining gaps in understanding, application, satisfaction. 
  • Adapt existing process documentation and work instructions engaging training experiences. 
Learning Strategy 
  • Serve as the Learning partner for the designated area/s of business and ensure to engage and partner with business owner and subject matter expert/s to understand and prioritize training needs on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage ongoing relationship with the business owner and subject matter expert/s to proactively design and deploy training solutions.
  • Assist in developing the learning strategy to handle ad-hoc and custom training requests to support internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Contribute best practices and continuous improvements to the Corporate Learning team and processes. 
Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Develop expertise in the management of the LMS and provide support as needed. 
  • Create learning paths to maximize learning experiences, maintain and update curriculum and learning content to ensure accuracy.  
  • Provide timely and efficient troubleshooting assistance to internal and external customers by investigating questions related to the courses and platforms and taking appropriate action for resolution.
