Internal Audit Consultant 3 Month Contract
Hybrid - New York, NY OR Remote
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
6+ years of Internal Audit experience
Experience in data governance and management practices
Preferred:
Audit & Accounting - Controls Testing
Risk Management - Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
CPA/CIA
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced financial services internal auditor with expertise in data governance and data management to support the Internal Audit function in assessing data governance and management practices, data quality, and data privacy risks and controls across the organization.
Responsibilities include: lead walkthroughs, develop test procedures, perform and document audit testing for control design and effectiveness, discuss test results and issues with applicable stakeholders, draft issues.
Require strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to operate independently while working under the supervision of an Auditor In Charge.
Either remote or hybrid (3 days per week onsite NYC / 2 remote)
