Internal Audit Consultant - AI Governance Auditor 3 Month Contract
Hybrid - New York, NY OR Remote
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
6+ years of Internal Audit experience
Preferred:
Audit & Accounting - Controls Testing
Risk Management - Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
CPA/CIA
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced financial services internal auditor with expertise in artificial intelligence governance to support the Internal Audit function in assessing AI model governance, ethical AI practices, and compliance with internal AI requirements (e.g., policies, procedures, standards) across the organization.
Responsibilities include: lead walkthroughs, develop test procedures, perform and document audit testing for control design and effectiveness, discuss test results and issues with applicable stakeholders, draft issues.
Require strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to operate independently while working under the supervision of an Auditor In Charge
Either remote or hybrid (3 days per week onsite NYC / 2 remote); we would like to find candidates for both in the event the client pushes for hybrid
