he Inside Sales Support (ISS)/Project Coordinator is responsible for preparing, reviewing and processing purchase orders and sales orders in an accurate and timely manner and follows it through until project completion. The ISS also negotiates with vendors and communicates with customers and other internal departments to resolve any related issues.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintains excellent communication with customers, vendors, and employees both in person and over the phone; contributes to a good working relationship with all to keep lines of communication open and help resolve problems.
  • Places orders with vendors and ensures timely delivery; ensures accuracy of pricing and order reviews order acknowledgements & confirmations.
  • Prepares Purchase Orders and Sales Orders using AutoQuotes and Inform ERP software.
  • Researches and interviews suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.  Coordinates with receivers on returns due to freight damage or manufacturer defect.
  • Handles requests for information, quotations, and catalog requests.
  • Contacts vendors regarding status of back orders and shipment shortages.  Reviews Open PO Report weekly and investigates status of PO’s.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
