Manufacturing company seeking an HR Generalist that is well versed in all aspects of HR .
Great opportunity to get into a Generalist role that is involve in all HR aspects for this location.  This hire will be part of a larger HR team and handle all of the HR work for this manufacturing site. The HR work that needs  to be handled on a local level. This hire will interface with manufacturing team and their managers.  The day to day is different every day. There is regular ER to be handled.
This hire will handle the full onboarding process – greet new hire, set up onboard agenda, work with hiring manager to get paperwork for I.T., orientation, enter in system, etc.

The HR Generalist reports directly to the Regional HR Manager and is primarily responsible for supporting the business and employees in HR related initiatives within this facility. 

  • Recruitment
o Work with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team to coordinate interviews, follow-up with managers, prepare interview packets and assist in the interview process from beginning of recruitment through preparation of offer letters
  • Onboarding
o Work with new employees through onboarding process including scheduling onboarding activities and meetings, ensuring paperwork is complete and all necessary information is entered into the system. Work with managers to ensure new hire trainings are scheduled and the onboarding process is smooth and productive
o Coordinate new hire breakfasts
  • Termination
o Prepare termination paperwork; work with managers to ensure adequate termination information is prepared. Assist with termination meetings and off-boarding activities
  • Engagement
o Assist in preparation of engagement survey, analyzing results, and preparing communication of results
o Coordinate employee engagement activities including lunches, activities, and communication meetings
o Assist with performance review process including coordination of development plans and performance improvement plans
  • Analytics
o Generate reports and assist in analyzing the data to prepare communications for leadership and employee population
  • Training and Development
o Prepare various trainings for employees which may include training of new processes, open enrollment training, and assistance with leadership training
  • Employee Relations
o Assist with employee relations issues and investigations; be available for employee discussions when needed and prepare documentation from discussions
