Job Description
The HR Business Partner NA will report to the CHRO and will partner with our Functional Services Provider business unit, which provides statistical expertise to biopharma clients, on critical HR topics to ensure thoughtful, compliant management of a range of topics in a way that advances both employee and business success. We are a growing People team with lots of opportunities to take initiative and define or lead new projects.
What you’ll do
Employee lifecycle
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, managing employee relations, performance dialogues, driving employee development and employee offboarding.
- Coordinate implementation of employee changes. You will be supported by the NA HRIS team, benefits lead, payroll team on tactical implementation of employee changes and to help resolve employee issues.
- Ensure business alignment, feedback, and socialization where necessary on employee issues and plans.
- Be a great peer and colleague to our growing NA People team as we work together across the lifecycle – we share knowledge, grow each other, and work to create a healthy, inclusive and positive working environment as we support our employees.
People program development and process improvement
- Work closely with business leaders to understand business priorities and how to drive people plans that enable those.
- Build connections with our growing Centers of Excellence by providing feedback and consultation on Reward, Talent, and operations programs.
- Collaborate with EMEA and APAC HRBPs on the delivery of BU programs that have global impact to ensure regional alignment, and also regional nuance.
- Identify process and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Who you are
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably with a technology or professional services organization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish credibility quickly with a remote workforce.

- Customer Focus. A demonstrated track record of proactively engaging leaders and employees at all levels with a strong degree of professional maturity.
- Track record of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive employee issues
- Demonstrated success as an HR professional supporting a dynamic, growing organization.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff in both technical and business roles.
