Job Description
The HR Business Partner is a strategic partner to the business focused on workforce mobilization aligned to achieve the business objectives. We work closely with senior leadership and their teams to develop and direct an HR agenda that supports organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with senior leadership in corporate functions to develop and direct a people agenda that closely supports organizational goals. Provide consultation and problem solving on organizational design and development, change management, recruitment and selection, performance management, employee/managerial development, succession planning, employee relations, training, and policy/procedure interpretations.
Ensure alignment between client groups to support the company vision in line with company culture and practices.
Analyze headcount requirements and turnover data for corporate functions to ensure the attainment of productivity, goals and retention levels.
Counsel supervisory/management teams with regard to individual performance assessments. Where appropriate develop and monitor performance improvement programs/recognition programs to support the performance objective.
Coach managers/supervisors through development and delivery of Performance Improvement Plans for individual associates. Review performance appraisal process and individual reviews for consistent content and tone. Propose changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide professional development and growth opportunities.
Manage the planning, administration and implementation of major HR project initiatives driving executional excellence and change management to broad based initiatives including talent reviews, inclusion and diversity, workforce planning, talent analytics, and overall process improvements in service to a positive employee experience. This includes leveraging our HR Systems and being willing to operate with minimal administrative support.
Requirements:
BA or BS, MBA preferred but not required.
5-7 years of demonstrated progressive career development in HR position, including 2+ years with proven experience as an HR Business Partner. Consumer Goods industry preferred.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing complex multiple project plans simultaneously through deep consultation with key stakeholders and managing timelines.
Ability to effectively interface with and influence people at all levels of the organization and across all functional areas of the business in a matrixed global organization.
In-depth experience with multiple approaches and technologies related to change, performance management, talent management and leadership development initiatives.
Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data, draw conclusions, and summarize recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lean into uncomfortable topics, ambiguous situations, and crucial conversations with others; ability to play the role of disruptor and positive change agent.
Knowledge of employment law and employment practices, with preferred experience conducting all types of employment investigations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated stand up presentation skills and proven staff management experience required.
Hybrid role (2 to 3 days per week onsite).
