Job Description


The HR Admin performs a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day support of our HR department.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Welcome, support, and direct office visitors while serving as the primary front desk for HR and neighboring departments.
  • Manage the HR team email inbox, phone, and internal ticket system; tactfully handle inquires independently or triage when appropriate.
  • Responsible for general upkeep of the office; create a welcoming atmosphere; monitor inventories and order office supplies.
  • Process purchase orders and invoices related to operations expenditures and ensure that charges are processed appropriately.
  • Schedule meetings, including making room reservations, arranging room set-ups and placing catering orders for meetings & events.
Operational Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the HR Operations and Program Manager to support planning and implementation of the new and ongoing HR programs, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain office files, records and databases; processing routine correspondence, documents, records, and reports as required.
  • Support onboarding including I-9 verification, New Hire Orientation, and onboarding tracking.
Special Projects and Program Support:
  • Support and maintain employee engagement projects and programs; including the HR Careers Page, employee appreciation events, and Human Resources correspondences.
  • Assist with ad hoc HR tasks and projects.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma; College degree preferred.
  • Some HR or Administrative experience required.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel primarily) and ability to learn internal software
