Job Description

Job Title: Group Assistant

Contract Duration: Tentative start date: Dec 4, 2024 through Jun 30, 2025 (Assignment extensions occur quarterly. The selected candidate has the potential to stay in the role for up to 18 months.)
Pay: $30.75/hr
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid (if onsite/hybrid please give city/town name): Onsite, 5 days In Office per Week; Redmond, WA

Must Haves: The role requires 1-2 overall years of experience in the field

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum years' experience with managing data centers or cloud services
2. Minimum years' experience with Microsoft office suite/ Outlook
3. Minimum years' experience with Ability to do self-research and learn new applications and tools.

Preferred:
The ideal resume would contain organizational and ability to cover for the sponsor while they’re out, work well under pressure in a very fast paced environment, and ability to work independently.

Job Description:
Provides general administrative support primarily for a group. A successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to:
Multi-task and change direction in rapid response to a fluctuating work environment and make timely decisions.
Be self-motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity and professionalism at all times.
Possess an aptitude to work independently and be comfortable operating with ambiguity.
Possess solid project-management and problem-solving skills.
Prioritize among multiple projects with a positive attitude.
Anticipate and remove administrative roadblocks.
Achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven track record of accountability, reliability and a can do attitude.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General Team Support for the Team.
Onboarding new hires and space management.
Event coordination and setup for all hands, off-sites, and morale events (logistics such as room reservation and catering).
Ensure compliance of administrative operational policies and procedures.
Support the EA with general tasks and requests.
Procurement of goods and services, including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials and facilities requests.
Provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response.
Maintain utmost confidentiality with sensitive and personal information.
Ability to take effective action without having to know the total picture.
Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, MS Teams
