6-month contract, extension possible

$20/22/hr

Must Haves:
  • HS diploma and 2+ years of job-related experience OR College degree

Preferred:
  • 2 + years global custody and/or client services/financial markets experience preferred


Job Description/Summary:
Global Registration is a dedicated market specialist team that is responsible for the intricacies of the Foreign Market Investment Approval Process. Registration supports account opening, closing, mergers, name changes, and conversions in all markets where there is a documentation or other regulatory barrier to enter these registration markets. This team is registration market subject matter experts that work very closely with our clients to help them obtain timely access to restricted markets of investment.

The Global Registration Specialist will complete registration database updates and maintenance, general departmental / team support functions which includes varied clerical and related data entry tasks. The position requires an individual with a high degree of initiative, organization, accuracy, and client service skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Analysts and their clients facilitating the approval and/or account opening, or name change process by reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy, submitting to the local market, and following progress through to timely completion
  • Maintain database reflecting changes in status for current market registration approvals and/or account opening processes
  • Process Account Maintenance events such as account closings, broker account openings, and Standing Instruction updates
  • Prepare and mail original documentation on behalf of clients for submission to sub-custodians and local markets for approval, including copying, faxing, scanning, etc.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Four-year college degree preferred but not required
  • 2 + years global custody and/or client services/financial markets experience preferred but not required
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new things
  • Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written forms
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think analytically and problem solve
  • Team player and strong work ethic
  • Advanced MS Excel skills e.g., Pivot tables/V-look-up
