Job Summary/Description:
A leading university is looking for a Financial Coordinator to join the team on a 3 month contract. This candidate should have a strong foundation in processing receivables, payables, purchasing, internal transfers, and other related financial transactions. They will be assisting with budget tracking and reconciliations through collaboration with various departments. The Financial Coordinator will prepare policy statements for distribution to employees, and provide individual guidance on specified transactions. They will also work to review/resolve items submitted for corrections by various offices; working to follow-up rejections with AP and Purchasing. Reconcile vendor payments, invoice review and monitor department accounts for budget compliance. As well as assisting in budget reporting for reconciliations are completed. Finally, they will provide additional administrative support and manage filing systems.
