Must Haves:
Associates degree in accounting or 3 to 5 years of experience required.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software required.

Job Description:
The Department of Economics seeks a temporary employee to cover financial processing responsibilities. Position will report to the Associate Director of Finance and Research Administration and be a part of the Department’s finance team.
Performs multiple diverse and complex accounting and financial administrative duties in fast paced environment for the Department of Economics.
Works with multiple sources of funding including sponsored research awards, gifts, endowments, and unrestricted funds.
As a member of the finance team, processes financial transactions (e.g. reimbursements, purchase orders and invoices) and serves as a source for financial information to faculty, researchers, students, and staff members, including reimbursement and invoice processing, and financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
Updates supervisor on status of projects.
