Executive Coordinator
6 month contract
Cambridge, MA
$33-37/hr

Must Haves:
  • HS diploma
  • At least 3 years' work experience in a related role
  • Event planning experience
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
  • Experience and/or interest in roles related to academic or non-profit administration and leadership
  • Comfortable in leadership and supporting positions
  • Graphic design and/or document prep experience
  • Interest in media, public policy, and emerging technologies
  • Prior experience with stakeholders

?Job Summary/Description:

The Executive Coordinator’s main responsibilities will be to provide strategic and logistical support for both Faculty and Executive Directors and center wide programming - both internal and external, as needed; assist with ongoing strategic planning projects that further the vision of the Center; manage various external and internal communications to the Center’s advisory board, VIPs, faculty, and other members of the community; provide support with fundraising and expert cultivation efforts; and manage day-to-day operations at the Center. The Executive Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the event planning and management of the Center’s bi-annual Advisory Board meeting and support with other marquee gatherings.
  • Assisting Executive Director in creating the center’s theory of change with key performance indicators to measure and forward the impact of the center
  • Working closely with Center Leadership to develop fundraising and stewardship strategy including the development of annual reports, relationship management activities, and the creation of other core content
  • Planning, managing, and conducting semi-annual advisory board meetings
  • Assisting with communications related to donor and key stakeholder engagement
  • Building out systems and processes to track relationships with donors and other key stakeholders using Salesforce
    Community-Building
  • Coordinating center-wide research sharing strategy for faculty, fellows, staff and students
  • Assisting with diversity, inclusion and belonging event programming and initiatives for center
  • Where needed, acting as a conduit between Center Leadership and various stakeholders
    Administrative Support
  • Assisting the Center Director and Executive Director with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings with internal teams or external stakeholders
  • Where needed, assisting the Center staff with tasks center wide whether that be on the Communications and Events team, the Finance Team, Operations and Human Resources
