Job Title: Contract Specialist Legal
Contract Duration: Tentative start date: Dec 2, 2024 through Jun 30, 2025 (Assignment extensions occur quarterly. The selected candidate has the potential to stay in the role for up to 18 months.)
Pay: $37.50/hr
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid (if onsite/hybrid please give city/town name): Remote, 100% Remote; Primarily remote, but during the first few weeks may be reporting to Reston, VA
Must Haves: The role requires 3-6 overall years of experience in the field

1. Experience in contracting for information technology with US government, preferably in a role with a private company, selling side.
2. Has experience completing these contractor administrative activities.
3. Federal government experience and knowledge.
Preferred:

Job Description:
The team is looking for a Contracts Administrator with demonstrated U.S. Federal Government Services contracts experience, with a proven track record of supporting various U.S. Federal Government contract administrative activities. You will support programs in a high volume and highly transactional information technology Services environment.
Your performance will require contract administration duties, such as completing U.S. Federal Government and partner representations and certifications, contract reporting, contract close-outs, insurance certificates and performance bonds, sole source justifications, researching non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements, and establishing (MSAs) with customers and partners.
You will assist and provide contract administrative support to the business and Federal Services Contracts Managers in the review, capture, execution and administration of IT services proposals, contracts, and subcontracts with the companies customers and partners.
Other duties as assigned.
Typical Day in the Role:
• Purpose of the Team: The team supports the group and they handle all contract transactions within their scope, including contract administration duties. The team is looking to bring on additional resources to manage the increasing workload and to allow one team member to focus on other priority areas.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% meetings, 70% heads down, 20% collaboration.
