Job Title: Contract Specialist Legal

Contract Duration: Tentative start date: Jan 6, 2025 through Jun 30, 2025 (Assignment extensions occur quarterly. The selected candidate has the potential to stay in the role for up to 18 months.)
Pay: $37.50/hr
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid (if onsite/hybrid please give city/town name): Remote, 100% remote, EST/CST preferred; Team is located in Redmond, WA

Must Haves: The role requires 4+ overall years of experience in the field

Preferred: The ideal resume would contain experience with federal government on the SELL side (working with contracting agencies with the federal government), be able to work with multiple stakeholders and projects at once.

Job Description:
Performs a variety of complex administrative projects, with an emphasis on contracts administration for a department or a division, primarily related to a structured business process. Complete special projects as assigned. Review business contracts for data to be extracted, formatted and entered into business tools in conjunction with the contract stakeholders and /or after negotiated agreements are concluded. Data entry into contract database. Organize workflow to effectively monitor documentation submitted through multiple departments. Coordinate contract reviews through meeting, conference calls and email. Serve as a point of contact to educate user community in the Contract Management & Compliance Process. Other duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet applicable vendor U.S. citizenship/residential requirements.

Typical Day in the Role:
• Purpose of the Team: The Deal and Contract Assist (DCA) Contract Specialist supports Product Support Services sellers and deal owners from deal setup and contract creation to contract processing including, facilitation of deal reviews, approvals and signatory requirements.
• Key projects: Deliver services following defined work instructions with high quality and within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 70% transactional contract work, 10% meetings. 20% calls/misc.
