Payment Operations Collections Specialist 3-Month Contract Hybrid (2 days in office – T/Th) – Draper, UT
Pay Range: $22 - 24
Must Haves:
Collections experience
Payment processing (ACH, check, digital wallet, international payments credit cards)
Strong Excel skills
Preferred:
eCommerce, payments, financial services industry experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations Management
Job Summary/Description:
This role will support the collections team in the execution and delivery of the team's strategic and operational initiatives. The collections team is responsible for the end-to-end collections process across several entities, and includes reviewing each account to determine the best way to approach the client, then executing their plan to bring in the maximum amount of revenue.
The ideal candidate brings collections knowledge and experience, possesses a customer centric mindset, and can contribute strongly individually and as part of a small but high performing team to optimize collection efforts and deliver on critical financial targets.
Experience:
2+ years of direct collections experience preferably in ecommerce, payments, financial service or a similar industry
Knowledge of delinquency control and collection procedures
Possesses excellent organizational and time management skills - must have ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both internal and external resources
Knowledge of payment processing methods including ACH, check, digital wallet, international payments, virtual and credit cards
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Operations Management is a plus

Logical and rational thinker with demonstrated data analysis and investigative reporting skills
Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills with ability to resolve conflicts and build relationships within a dynamic organization
Possesses excellent organizational and time management skills - must have ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
