Contract with possible extensions - $25-30 hourly
Onsite – Los Angeles, CA Must Haves:
Experience with medical hospital claims – specifically institutional claims and managed care – Medi-Cal
PDR experience

Job Description:
The Claims Examiner carries out complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks that require independent decision-making. This role involves reviewing medical claim adjudication in managed care, handling payment reconciliations or adjustments due to changes in contract rates or fee schedules, and identifying the root causes of payment errors, which are reported to Management. Additionally, this position addresses provider inquiries or calls about claim payments and works with other departments or providers to resolve claims-related issues effectively.
