Administrative Assistant

Must Have: 
  • HS diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of administrative office experience
  • Higher education experience

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing key day-to-day admissions processes and data operations, including the processing and review of graduate admissions applications. Duties include but are not limited to the coordination of application document management including matching official test scores and online application data into the application system, analyzing applicant data; importing and exporting applicant data into the online application system; and verifying credentials of admitted students. 35%

Communicate directly with prospective and admitted students via email and Live Chat. Answer all questions that come in by researching the appropriate answering and responding quickly. Follow through will be necessary to ensure the student’s question is answered completely and in a satisfactory manner. 45%

Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested on behalf of the University and the Office of Graduate Student Affairs, including but not limited to orientation, graduation, and other programming and events. 20%

Skills and Knowledge:
Work independently.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong judgment and excellent people management skills.
Strong background and proven record in execution and problem solving under general supervision on administrative
matters and demonstrate both excellent working relationships and strong communication skills.
