Job Title: Administrative Assistant 2

Contract Duration: Tentative start date: Mar 17, 2025 through Jun 30, 2025 (Assignment extensions occur quarterly. The selected candidate has the potential to stay in the role for up to 18 months.)
Pay: $29.50/hr
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid (if onsite/hybrid please give city/town name): Hybrid – 3-4 days in office per week; Redmond, WA

Must Haves: The role requires 2-4 overall years of experience in the field

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
Experience in calendar management.
Ability to arrange domestic and international travel.

Preferred: The ideal resume would contain Demonstrating experience in managing calendars and arranging domestic and international travel. Clearly detailing specific tools and software they have worked with, such as the Microsoft Suite. Showing a progression in their roles, indicating they have taken on more responsibilities over time.

Job Description:

Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners. Manages schedule(s), coordinates travel arrangements and processes business expenses.  Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations.  Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships.  Provides general office support.  Serves as the department/group contact.  Completes special projects as assigned.

Typical Day in the Role:
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is focused on providing administrative support due to recent growth. They need additional resources to handle tasks such as calendar support, team support, managing events, budget management, space management, and various projects within the team or executive team.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to Calendar support and management, Domestic and international travel arrangements, Coordination with the admin team and external teams, Event planning, including catering, venues, logistics, and team events, Onboarding and offboarding processes, Headcount management, Managing expense reports and space management projects.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of: big focus is manager and team support (calendar management, space aspect), then onboarding/offboarding, extra things that come through. Day to day will vary.
