Job Summary/Description:
Oversees and coordinates the accuracy of the cash accounting operations. Manages and ensures all bank statements are reconciled month to the general ledger. Completes and reviews general ledger reconciliation and analyzes designated accounts for reasonableness and accuracy. Assists and verifes cash deposits and disbursements to the bank statements and general ledger and informs the appropriate party for discrepancies on a periodic basis.
Performs and supervises cash accounting and other general accounting functions for multiple entities. Knowledgeable of GAAP principles. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct. Ability to supervise personnel as well as be a leader within the department.
Supervisory experience over GL accountants, cash accounting/cash management experience, excellent analytical and problem- solving skills, attention to detail and strong Excel skills. Certifications Preferred.
