Accountant Contract - 6 Months
Austin TX
Must Haves:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of experience working in an accounting setting
Experience working with large data sets in Excel
MacOS & iOS
Preferred:
CPA, preferred
ASC 606 experience, preferred
SAP experience, preferred
Job Description:
Review clearing accounts on a weekly basis and investigate if issues or variances are identified.
Support Business Partners in review, analysis, and Journal Entries, as required.
Review Vendor transactions and perform Reconciliations between Internal and Vendor system Reports.
Post Journal Entries and complete Quarterly Recons for various Balance Sheet accounts.
Participate in projects during their entire cycle, from initial engagement to production go-live.
Lead, plan and support the implementation of initiatives to drive process improvements in terms of quality, efficiency and scalability.
Manage and resolve exceptions that impact revenue recognition and other relevant accounting processes.
