2+ years experience handling general ledger accounting, with an emphasis on cash management, reconciliations and audits
Experience from academia
Bachelor’s degree
Strong system skills
Preferred:
Experience in Student Accounts
Banner, Touchnet, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Argos system experience
Job Summary/Description: World class university has an immediate need for a Student Accounts Accountant with strong university accounting experience! This is a 4 month contract opportunity with the possibility for extension! The successful candidate will be responsible for answering phone and email inquiries from students and families, reconciling GL accounts with OSF records, resolving discrepancies with the accounting office and performing daily posting and reconciliation of cash, credit cards, checks, wires, etc., and working closely with the treasury office.
