Job Title: Reinsurance Principle Business Development
Direct Hire
Onsite + 50% Travel
Salary: $110,000-$180,000
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent years of experience
A minimum of ten years consultative sales experience into Fortune 2000 companies, Reinsurers, and Insurance companies ideally in selling SaaS solutions and services
Expert understanding of the Reinsurance industry; Ceded and Assumed
Business acumen and deep knowledge of the Reinsurance and Insurance industry
Success selling into the highest levels of accounts with a focus on the C-Suite
Preferred:
Working knowledge of the SAP Solution suite preferred
Job Description:
Identify and engage with reinsurance and insurance prospects to discover inefficiencies and regulatory requirements, positioning SAP Reinsurance Management solutions to unlock value.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring regular communication.
Plan and coordinate sales activities with presales teams.
Develop and manage account and opportunity planning processes.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
Prepare and coordinate RFI and RFP responses with the presales team.
Learn about key advantages and functionalities of the SAP Reinsurance solution to position it effectively.
Deliver presentations to VP through C-level executives and key decision-makers, including CFOs, CROs, and senior leaders in various business functions.
Work closely with SAP and other partners to qualify and develop business opportunities.
Follow up after contract signatures to ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on industry trends and market developments.
Attend and network at relevant business events.
