Portfolio Analyst
$50-$60/hr Contract: 12+ months Hybrid: Houston OR Atlanta
Must Haves:
Undergraduate degree in a mathematics, finance, economics, or related field
Experience in code and test programming using Python, R, VBA, SQL or equivalent
Strong understanding of fixed income instruments
Preferred:
Knowledge of project management
Knowledge of Performance, Attribution, or Investment Risk
Prior experience in Operations, Accounting, or Finance in the securities/investment industry
Experience in working with IT teams to implement business process improvements
Job Description: The Portfolio Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the Performance Measurement, Analytics, and Reporting (PMAR) function to effectively implement strategies for delivering performance and analytical insights across Invesco’s global teams and products. This position will contribute significantly to automation initiatives, the development of new capabilities, active team discussions, and cross-department coordination to achieve PMAR’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and actively participate in various performance and analytics projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and processes.
Assist in reporting and analyzing portfolio and benchmark characteristics.
Create, interpret, and analyze fixed income performance attribution results for Invesco’s global products.
Evaluate the importance of requests or issues, manage the flow of related information, and ensure proper resolution.
