7 years+ in Recruiting with onboarding
5 years+ in managing staff
Experience in a role that handled both recruiting and managing a staff
Excel for reporting
Experience leveraging AI to help with recruiting/onboarding
The Manager of TA leads a compliant and standardized full life cycle recruiting process for the company. This role provides leadership and operational oversight to the talent acquisition team, ensuring exceptional client service, continuous process improvement, employer branding, and successful recruiting strategies. The focus is on attracting, recruiting, and hiring qualified employees in a timely, cost-effective manner using the latest recruiting technology and AI. The Manager will regularly analyze and report on recruiting metrics and develop new hire programs to support successful employee orientation and integration.
Responsibilities:
-Manage, implement, and continuously enhance all stages of the full life cycle recruiting process, from position requisitions to sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and onboarding/integrating new hires.
-Directly manage small staff a Coordinator and indirectly manage a second Coordinator.
-Develop and modify recruitment strategies as needed to optimize results.
-Conduct thorough searches and analyze the competitive market, leveraging placement agencies, job boards, career fairs, social media, AI, and other relevant technologies.
-Establish and maintain relationships with search firms; track and organize active search firm contracts.
Develop and manage the annual recruiting budget.
-Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through exceptional communication and timely follow-up.
-Provide exceptional service delivery to internal stakeholders and proactively update hiring managers on search progress.
-Maintain accurate and complete candidate files using the ATS
-Provide weekly recruiting updates to the HR Director.
-Manage the relationship with the background check vendor and ensure timely and compliant completion of checks and new hire paperwork.
-Maintain and analyze data tracking recruiting-related activity, expenses, and metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate sources.
-Hire and track temporary staff new hires.
-Apply behavioral-based interviewing techniques and ensure hiring managers are well-versed in the recruiting methodology and process.
-Manage the internal candidate referral program.
-Maintain the job description inventory and assist managers in developing job descriptions as needed.
-Implement processes to acclimate and welcome new employees, providing them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to quickly become productive members of the company.
-Collaborate with managers to assess and enhance the effectiveness of hiring, onboarding, and integration programs.
-Manage the summer internship program.
