Accounts Payable
Contract, at least 2 months with potential to extend
Hybrid
Hourly rate: $25-26.50/hr
Must have:
At least 6 months AP/Accounting experience
Excel - rows, columns, formulas
clear and grammatically correct communication skills
Nice to have:
SAP
Bachelors degree
wire transfers experience
The Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of financial and administrative tasks. This role supports effective and efficient financial operations.
Core Accountabilities:
-Route invoices internally and secure necessary approvals.
-Process all invoices and participate in weekly check runs (average is 50-100 invoice per week).
-Address vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
-Compile and provide data for month-end processing.
-Reconcile vendor statements with a focus on detail and accuracy.
-Maintain strong vendor relationships and provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
-Update files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, adhering to company policies and accounting standards.
Perform clerical accounting duties and assist with special projects as needed.
-Demonstrate knowledge of banking processes, including wires, deposits, and reconciliations.
-Manage, reconcile, and process employee Purchasing Card statements.
